September 27

Today is National Breakfast in Bed day
It's also the premiere of our first Perambulations experience—
Sanguine, a vampire tale you follow on foot
If you're in Southern California, head on over for a story you can sink your teeth into

If attending the show is not in the cards for you,
why not make breakfast in bed for yourself or a loved one

No-cook options
Yogurt parfait: Layer yogurt, granola, and fresh fruits like berries or banana  in a glass or jar.
Smoothie bowl: Blend fruits with yogurt or milk and top with nuts, seeds, and extra fruit.
Fruit salad: Chop a variety of colorful fruits.
Overnight oats: Combine oats, milk, yogurt, and toppings the night before.
Bagel & Lox: Toast a bagel, spread cream cheese, and top with lox, red onion, and capers.
Avocado toast: Spread mashed avocado on toast and top with tomatoes, salt, and olive oil.

Simple cooked options
Pancakes or waffles: Use a pre-made mix or simple recipe and serve with toppings.
Egg muffins: Bake individual egg muffins with vegetables and cheese.

A single flower in a small vase, a handwritten note, or a cloth napkin can elevate the experience and make the recipient feel truly pampered.
