It's Skeptics Day!
Do you know the definition of a skeptic?
"a person inclined to question or doubt accepted opinions."
That's that way a lot of people feel when it comes to the unwanted animal crisis.
They either don't believe the issue is as dire as depicted or they despair of being able to do anything about it.

That's why we started Pawsitively Purrfect. At first we hoped to host monthly pet adoptions. But every group we talked to already had a full schedule with pet supply chains. So we decided to go at it from a different angle by offering free meet & greets with a different kind of pet each month as an expert shares what is involved in caring for the breed. This way, families know what they are getting into before they take on a new member of the household and (heaven forbid) end up abandoning the pet when they realize what is involved in pet care.
